3220 for Cellular One

The image “http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:NeUntDyg6yTE1M:http://www.freiburgercommunications.com/test2/images/3220.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.
The Nokia 3220 is certainly one of the attractive mobile phones and one of the affordable phones as well. Along with the low-end price are features that are quite impressive for a small unit but useful at the same time. The outer casing of the 3220 sports a funky, sporty theme. Definitely not the kind of phone business executives would want to carry around. But it appeals to the young people of the market.
With an assortment of customized
cell phone cases, cell phone covers, and other Nokia accessories, the 3220 is pretty much a fashionable mobile phone. But though the 3220 seems to be a youngster's mobile phone of choice, the features are also worth noting. The display is pretty much impressive. The picture quality is acceptable. Voice quality for phone calls is decent. Phone conversations with the 3220 are not that bad.
As for flaws, I am pretty sure there some but who cares? For $99.99, this mobile phone is the bomb!

Motorola ROKR E1 for Cellular One

The image “http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:-7qPA7VViWlJhM:http://www.phonedog.com/r/c/5608-2829-167-175-250x275.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

The Motorola ROKR E1 is the first non-Apple mobile phone that utilizes the iTunes music applications. As far as music is concerned, the Apple iPod has been very remarkably consistent on being the best portable music player. The fusion between Motorola and Apple to produce a very notable music phone is most likely a take on Sony Ericsson and Walkman's domination on that category.

But whether Motorola and Apple succeed or not, the Motorola ROKR E1 surely rocks! With built-in memory that can hold up to 100 songs, a very crisp voice quality on the headset and stereo speakers, and other features that, well, rock. Clad this mobile phone with Motorola cell phone accessories like cell phone cases, cell phone covers, etc. and you are good to go.
Cell phone batteries go a long way wit this mobile phone. Average talk time can go as far as 4 hours and 20 minutes. Stand by time can last for 230 hours.

Sony Ericcson Z310 for Cellular1

The image “http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:T0EQ-QBLYOM-EM:http://www.clubsonyericsson.com/news/z310.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

For as low as $24.99, you can now have the Sony Ericsson Z310 by way of CellularOne. The Sony Ericsson Z310 was not designed for upper echelons of the consumer strata, but it sure does work like a high end mobile phone.

The Sony Ericsson is one of those mobile phones that use VGA cameras. In addition to that, the Sony Ericsson Z310 takes high quality photo for a VGA camera. Apart from that, the Z310 also has a wide solid range of features that would put other mobile phones within its price range to shame. The design is also something worth noting. For a clamshell, the Sony Ericsson is a beauty. No need to get those customized cell phone covers and other cell phone accessories for the looks overhaul. Although the plastic feel makes the Z310 seem cheap, the overall performance compensates entirely for that. And speaking of performance, the talk time max for this phone is a whooping 7 hours. No need to get spare cell phone batteries.

Is there a mobile phone out there that can top that?

Virgin Mobile to offer IPO.

The image “http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:fDkq1Ht4LRMBhM:http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/9/98/Virgin_Mobile_logo.png/175px-Virgin_Mobile_logo.png” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.
Virgin Mobile, in a move to strut their status, has filled for an IPO which will take the company public and launch its shares for the public to trade. It's no surprise to anyone that Virgin Mobile is a highly successful virtual operator over here in the states, so this move only shows us the level on which this company has grown. Virgin Mobile will be listed under "VM" respectively and it has been predicted that they will generate an estimated $100 million with their entrance into the marketplace. Sprint / Nextel, the carrier representative for their American branch, will probably receive a nice amount of that $100 million, but we all know that when one gets a large sum of cash debt is the first place we go. Good job Virgin Mobile, you've not let everyone know how successful you are.

Verizon Launches Samsung u550

The image “http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:oUkpNKgeK94KvM:http://www.mycellphoneblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/samsung-u550.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.
The long wait is over as Verizon unveils its latest mobile phone from their fold: the Samsung u550. The Samsung u550 is a mid-range clamshell built for fashion and function. It's elegant flip design is one of Samsung's best as far as clamshell phones are concerned. The external display featuring the Roman numerals on the clock is simply magnificent.
The Samsung u550 performs extremely well. Features, both basic and advanced, are quite user-friendly. The Samsung u550 is a great phone overall. But one major flaw would be its web connection. It is not as slow as a snail trying to cross a highway, but it would have been better if it was bit speedier. But even with that kind of mishap, the Samsung u550 will predictably revel in its domination over other mid-class mobile phones.
As for customizing, Verizon offers a wide range of
Samsung cell phone accessories such as cell phone batteries and cell phone antenna. Personlizing your phone is pretty much easier than you think.

Tracfone a frontrunner against FCC's tax increase

The Federal Communications Commision (FCC) has recently announced its plans to raise the Universal Service Fund (USF) fee to $1 or more every month. This new ruling would apply to all carriers of wireless service. While $1 doesn't seem like too much at first, for companies like Tracfone, this is nearly a 1600% increase from the previous USF fee. This increase adds up quickly and will definitely have a huge impact on Tracfone's financials. Tracfone is currently saying alot to get people to get on their side to protest against the FCC's rulings. The FCC is a federal committee but is operated completely by the public. Many past FCC rulings have been overturned because of public outcry, so hopefully for Tracfone this will be no exception.

This is a glimpse as to what is to come in the mobile industry as we progress more and more each day with an overwhelming amount of new and more profitable ways to capitalize on the mobile industry. Mobile Phones: Effective Bee Repellant

The image “http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:qCoFQXA-Ro2a2M:https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3eZVCGAanYdwQgMjDcnOJq880sUzmLpRcX7MVwvNLBIE-PsJW84WcNoecymLRZjwSL3cAyzJ2aXowi1nxIIB_kuuQGNeTb0MJETogCqfRn_to2O8ke55P7Y0rW5DtwPzqxgFJs0_T2jU/s400/honey.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.
For the longest time, scientists and health experts have stressed the dangers mobile phones pose to humans. Constant exposure to the electro-magnetic waves emitted by cell phones has gradual and adverse effects on the human body. But bodies of evidence to prove such claim are still lacking.
But whether or not this is true is really beyond the ken of ordinary people. Besides, we have
mobile phone accessories to protect us from such dangers. Anyway, another occurrence has baffled commercial bee farmers as of late. Honey production has decreased significantly due to honey bees not returning to their hives. Insect experts suspected that EMP's from cell phones interfere with the bees' navigation systems. There are still no reliable evidence to prove this theory but scientist believe that EMP causing bees to lose their way is quite possible.

Reflecting About Old Mobiles

[old+nokia.jpg]
How many people out there are still using mobile phones prior to the release of the first camera phone? Probably not that much but still I see people talking and sending SMS through their dilapidated Nokia 3310's. At any given day, I still see people walking around with their old mobile phones. The Nokia brand would top the list with either Siemens or Samsung closing in on the second spot. Anyway, heart of the matter is a LOT (that is, a quite considerable number) of people still prefers using the good ole phones rather than the new breed of mobiles. At Tracfone, they do have a lot of old Nokia mobile phones in their yard.

[old+samsung.jpg]

You might say it’s the essence of the old mobile phones that justify this occurrence. It is function, first and foremost, you might add. But whether you admit it or not, you do want your phone to look good. Fortunately, for Nokia users, you can add some personal flavor to the looks with the available Nokia accessories that are ubiquitous in almost any part of the globe. Cell phone cases with customized details and cool designs sell like hot pancakes. Trouble with battery life? Charge up with new set of chargers and new set of cell phone batteries.

[old+siemens.jpg]

True, you non-camera phone cannot take pictures. But then again, it is function, first and foremost, that prompted you to buy the phone in the first place.

Sprint Mobile Email Does Exchange, Domino

Sprint Mobile Email Work will enable users of consumer-friendly non-PDA phones - like Sprint's touted Instinct - to tap into Exchange and Domino email.

Mobile operator Sprint, struggling to hang on to subscribers as it invests in rolling out its much-touted WiMax mobile broadband network, has announced Sprint Mobile Email Work, an extension of its existing mobile email service that will enable users of consumer-oriented non-PDA phones—like the iPhone-competing Instinct—to tap into corporate email systems as well as end-user email accounts like Gmail, Windows Live, and Yahoo Mail.

Sprint plans to include Sprint Mobile Email Work at no extra charge in its Everything plans, which start at $69.99 a month. Mobile Email Work will enable users to tap into email accounts hosted on Exchange 2000, 2003, and 2007 systems, as wel as Lotus Domino accounts. Email messages get pushed to the user's phone as soon as they arrive in a user's desktop mailbox; user can read, reply to, delete, and create new messages using their enterprise-based accounts, and all changes are synchronized back to the server.

Sprint Mobile Email Work will initially be available on the Samsung Instinct (where it'll ship pre-loaded); Sprint will also offer the software for the LG Rumor and Fusic phones; Motorola's RAZR, RAZR2, and KRZR; the Samsung M500, A900, and A900M, and the Sanyo 8400, Katana, and Katana II in the coming weeks in the form of a software update. Sprint eventually plans to roll Sprint Mobile Email Work out to additional handsets.

The First Mobile

Ever wonder what the first mobile phone looked like? For us who have been using the latest mobile phones and the latest gizmos and cell phone accessories, we automatically revert to Nokia 5110 or the Motorola Talkabout as the first cell phones. But going down the memory lane, the said scenario is not the case like many of us thought it was.
There were a lot of mobile phone models that claimed for the bragging rights to be called the first. After a few jostling and hustling about, the first ever mobile phone (handeheld, that is) to beome commercially available in the United States was the Motorola DynaTAC 800X.
As technology fastened its pace and the like of Nokia, Samsung and LG produced their own line of mobile phones and Nokia has its Nokia accessories and Samsung has its Samsung cell phone accessories; carriers like Srpint and Nextel emerged and Sprint accessories are now out on the market and Nextel has its line of Nextel phone cases, theirs was a far cry from the DynaTAC.
The DynaTAC is way, flat out, humongous and bulky by today's standards. But it was quite a sensation back then. There were no Motorola cell phone accessories to beef up the DynaTAC but it sure was beefy.

TOP 3 PDA's of ALL TIME

For those who are into PDA phones, read on. Here are the 3 best PDA's of all time.

1. Palm Treo 700P
The Treo 700P is the first PDA that utilized Palm-OS. Also, it the first Treo model that supported Bluetooth 1.2. It has a 1.3 mega pixel camera with decen photo quality. Voice quality is great as well. In comparison with the latest PDA's, the Palm Treo 700P has fallen behind in every aspect. But why is it #1? Nothing beats the classic. Also, there's nothing the right set of mobile phone accessories can't fix.

2. Motorola Q
When the RAZR was released back in 2005, the trend where thin is in ensued. That's when the Motorola Q came in. Sprint was its first distributor and the company raked in a lot of profits coming for both the Motorola Q and compatible Sprint accessories. The Motorola Q was highly favored over a much popular BlackBerry.

3. UTstarcom PPC-6700
If you were
expecting for a BlackBerry, sorry to disappoint. Although BlackBerry PDA phones and the BlackBerry accessories are pretty much popular, the UTstarcom PPC-6700 beats them by an inch. Don't ask me how. To be honest, I just hate BlackBerry.

The Most Expensive Mobile Phone

For one million US Dollars, one can get to own the most expensive mobile phone ever. Goldvish, the maker of the "Le Million" mobile phone, ended Vertu's dominance and monopoly over the luxury phones market. The "Le Million" is, as stated above, worth US$1,000,000. The said mobile phone edged Vertu's Signature Cobra, which costs at US$310,000. Apparently, the "Le Million" is not for sale. But it sure did made a lot of splashes in the mobile communications community.
Cell phone cases should not cost mush but for the "Le Million", the housing alone is worth more than two decent cars. Studded with 180 high-grade diamonds, it is the epitome of luxury phones. But with all the gems and gold-plates, the "Le Million" is no better than the average mobile phone if you talk about performance. Unless you are one aesthetically inclined person, or just the average nut-head, the "Le Million" is definitely not a good buy. But did I mention this mobile phone is not for sale? If it is, then they have to make some cell phone accessories made of gold and gemstones.

But then, hey can't sell any if it is really for sale. That's a given.

Ass Kickin' Asus V66

So far we have not talked about any Asus mobile phone, so for the sake of changing views, I am going to rant and rave about the Asus V66.
First and foremost, the V66 is one of the coolest mobile phone I have ever used. The design is not that flashy but not that timid as well. The Asus V66 has, for lack of better terms, the right blend. Although cell phone cases for this mobile phone are rare, I am very much satisfied with its stock casing, which has some corporate "I am important" look in it. The keys are soft to the touch too. Unlike some mobile phones where you have to push real hard to make their keys work, the Asus V66 is quite the opposite. There are a lot things that are so good about the Asus V66 that I might run out of space if I enumerate all them in one single post. So on with the bad stuff.
Like I mentioned earlier, the mobile phone accessories for the Asus V66, particularly cell phone cases and cell phone batteries, are not that easy to find, unlike Nokia accessories and Motorola cell phone accessories. Now I can live without those cases but the batteries are very important, for obvious reasons.
Anyway, I never got the chance to use my Asus V66 for a long time because someone stole it. I hope whoever has it is having battery problems right now. HAHAHAHA!

Tribute to Bosch

Have you ever used Bosh mobile phones? They were kinda one of the hottest mobile phone eight or nine years ago. See, unlike famous names like Nokia and Motorola, the Bosch line of mobile phones was not that popular. This seems contradictory to what I said earlier; that Bosch was quite a pancake back in the days.
To make it clearer, during those days the Nokia 3210 and the Motorola Timeport series lorded the mobile phone scene, along with Nokia accessories and Motorola cell phone accessories as well. If you own a mobile phone bearing a different name apart from the two mentioned earlier, you were automatically famous. Of course, the fame will stay depending on the performance on your phone. Bosch mobile phones, particularly model COM 509, stayed long enough to make a dent on our memory banks.
Generally, the Bosch brand is famous for power tools. But with the COM 509, Bosch had practically made itself an underdog in the mobile phone business. With its excellent performance and remarkable battery life, COM 509 was an instant favorite.
But ultimately, Bosch could not come up with a follow up. Like in the movies where the sequels sucks more than the first one, the same thing happened to Bosch.
Today, we see not just Nokia and Motorola. There are a lot of others who are either blazing or clawing their way to the peak of mobile communications. Samsung cell phones and Samsung cell phone accessories. LG cell phones and LG cell phone accessories. Question is: Would there be another Bosch in the making?

Motorola i335 for Sprint

Actually, the Motorola i335 is exclusively distributed by Nextel, which we all know is no long connectd with Sprint. Anyway, the Motorola i335 from Nextel costs about $29.99. It might be a good deal when it comes to performance.
See, the Motorola i335 does not disappoint when it comes to sound quality over conversations, signal reception, quick Internet recognition, or battery life. Whether it's the mobile phone or the carrier is responsible for that, who cares, right? As long as you are extremely satisfied in those departments, you are good.
The looks are pretty much lacking in aesthetic value. But with the right cell phone cases, you can probably make a Cinderella out of this mobile phone.
As for mobile enhancements, I'm not sure as to where you can get high-end goods. You might be better off if you get those Nextel phone cases and the other stuff from Sprint accessories. Or better yet, get those authentic Motorola cell phone accessories for compatibility assurance.

Why Do I Hate Clamshells

Why do I hate clamshells? Let me count the ways:

  1. They look ridiculous.
  2. I don't like flipping phones.
  3. I can't easily change the cell phone covers.
  4. Same with cell phone cases.
  5. So with the other look enhancements.
  6. Most don't have external display.
  7. Most of them don't have internal cell phone antennas.
  8. I don't want to open the phone to access menus.
  9. Personally, I like candy bars.
  10. They have this 'classic' aura around them.
  11. Clamshells don't have thatkind of aura.
  12. I think clamshells are more susceptible to damage than candy bars.
  13. Slim clamshells, especially RAZR's, are prone to shock damage.
  14. My finger was bitten by a clamshell before.
  15. That hurt.
  16. It scarred me.
  17. I eat clamshells to take revenge.
  18. I can't eat mobile clamshells.
  19. I never used one in my life.
  20. They look ridiculous.

WND Wind DUO 2200

For people who need to have two handsets at the same time, and for those who need twice the attention, the WND Wind DUO 2200 could fill in the void.

The WND Wind DUO 2200 is practically two mobile handsets fused into one single device. Can't get a mental image? Picture this: it's like two mobile phones of the same model glued together at the back. Can't get more vivid than that. That means two screens, two keypads, and two phones. But it's just one mobile phone actually. Confusing? Not so.

Like mentioned above. it's pretty much a mobile phone that can accommodate two SIM cards. A lightweight phone at that, the WND Wind DUO 2200 allows you to use two different mobile numbers at the same time! With cool features such as Bluetooth, 2.0 megapixel camera on each faces (two cameras!), speakerphone, mp3 player, mpeg video player, and JAVA games, definitely an excellent phone.

The only downside would be the mobile phone accessories such cell phone cases , cell phone covers and the works. This is still a brand new phone by any standards so customizing this mobile phone would have to wait as cases and face plates may still not be available. The price is reasonable so there's no complaint about that. All things aside, the WND Wind DUO 2200 is really an excellent phone (I have to say that twice for emphasis).
