Actually, the Motorola i335 is exclusively distributed by Nextel, which we all know is no long connectd with Sprint. Anyway, the Motorola i335 from Nextel costs about $29.99. It might be a good deal when it comes to performance.
See, the Motorola i335 does not disappoint when it comes to sound quality over conversations, signal reception, quick Internet recognition, or battery life. Whether it's the mobile phone or the carrier is responsible for that, who cares, right? As long as you are extremely satisfied in those departments, you are good.
The looks are pretty much lacking in aesthetic value. But with the right cell phone cases, you can probably make a Cinderella out of this mobile phone.
As for mobile enhancements, I'm not sure as to where you can get high-end goods. You might be better off if you get those Nextel phone cases and the other stuff from Sprint accessories. Or better yet, get those authentic Motorola cell phone accessories for compatibility assurance.

Why Do I Hate Clamshells
Why do I hate clamshells? Let me count the ways:
- They look ridiculous.
- I don't like flipping phones.
- I can't easily change the cell phone covers.
- Same with cell phone cases.
- So with the other look enhancements.
- Most don't have external display.
- Most of them don't have internal cell phone antennas.
- I don't want to open the phone to access menus.
- Personally, I like candy bars.
- They have this 'classic' aura around them.
- Clamshells don't have thatkind of aura.
- I think clamshells are more susceptible to damage than candy bars.
- Slim clamshells, especially RAZR's, are prone to shock damage.
- My finger was bitten by a clamshell before.
- That hurt.
- It scarred me.
- I eat clamshells to take revenge.
- I can't eat mobile clamshells.
- I never used one in my life.
- They look ridiculous.

WND Wind DUO 2200
For people who need to have two handsets at the same time, and for those who need twice the attention, the WND Wind DUO 2200 could fill in the void.
The WND Wind DUO 2200 is practically two mobile handsets fused into one single device. Can't get a mental image? Picture this: it's like two mobile phones of the same model glued together at the back. Can't get more vivid than that. That means two screens, two keypads, and two phones.
But it's just one mobile phone actually. Confusing? Not so.
Like mentioned above. it's pretty much a mobile phone that can accommodate two SIM cards. A lightweight phone at that, the WND Wind DUO 2200 allows you to use two different mobile numbers at the same time! With cool features such as Bluetooth, 2.0 megapixel camera on each faces (two cameras!), speakerphone, mp3 player, mpeg video player, and JAVA games, definitely an excellent phone.
The only downside would be the mobile phone accessories such cell phone cases , cell phone covers and the works. This is still a brand new phone by any standards so customizing this mobile phone would have to wait as cases and face plates may still not be available. The price is reasonable so there's no complaint about that. All things aside, the WND Wind DUO 2200 is really an excellent phone (I have to say that twice for emphasis).

iPhones over in Germany

T-Mobile just announced that it will sell iPhones over in Germany. The Apple iPhone has three features which are a mobile phone, a widescreen iPod, and mobile Internet device. iPhone users in Germany will have access to Apple's music offerings from iTunes. It has build in Wi-Fi, so users go to to iTune to download or purchase songs. End of 2007, T-Mobile will be the only Network that supports iPhone in Germany. It will operate with an EDGE network which has a transfer rate of over 220 kilobits per second. This is four times faster than ISDN. The price of the iPhone in Germany will be 399 euros.

Google Phone Confirmed

Supposedly an insider from HTC has confirmed a long-time rumor to be true. Google is currently in talks with HTC and possibly Samsung (although this is not confirmed) for their release of a new Google branded cell phone. Google is currently choosing between 20 different cell phone designs by HTC. Not too much has been released about the phone itself, but we can expect much of Google's software to be modified to work seamlessly on a mobile device. Google maps, as well as a GPS system is expected to be on the phone, along with Gmail, Google Talk and calender integration. Even more interesting, there are rumors that the Google phone will also feature VoIP technology as well. There have also been speculation about the phone's OS being a version of Windows Mobile, but new rumors suggest the OS may be Linux based. Hopefully, if all goes as planned, we should be seeing this phone hit the market in early 2008.

In my opinion, knowing Google's business plan/strategy, it may be safe to guess that the phone will be cheaper than the iPhone. Assuming Google sticks to their advertising based business model, they may even take a loss with the release of the hardware. By obtaining a large customer base quickly, they can then expect to make back their investment largely through advertising revenue.

Cell Phone Projectors - the next big thing?

Recently at CES 2007, a company called Microvision announced a new technology that can very well be seeing its way into cell phones in the future. The technology they announced was a miniature digital projector, designed to be implemented into a cell phone. With the increasing popularity and improving quality of cameras on cell phones, this kind of feature on a cell phone could make sense. Who really wants to watch a movie or browse through pictures on a tiny, smudged up 2" screen? Instead, blowing it up and projecting it onto a surface would make it easier to share, as well as provide for a much higher quality multimedia experience!
